Had a lovely walk this morning with the Ascot Dogs at Woods Yard, although Molly wanted to go back to the car every time I let her off the lead. She is a creature of habit and likes to do the same walk all the time. When I first walked her at Swinley she did the same.
When I came to doing the Bracknell walk the rain had set in! I still walked around Swinley with them but it was not as long as usual as I wanted to get out the rain. To be honest it was only very slightly less but i think I was walking quickly. Harvo had a great run anyhow and Jacko was busy as usual. Ruby seemed happy today and returned home dirtly!!!
I then took mine to Crowthorne Woods, the rain seemed to disappear which was nice. Lexi had a perfect recall when we came across another dog on the path and typically I did not have any treats for her. I always have treats oh well I did not stop telling her how good she is….

and then the day continues and I forget but remember a few things. Buttersteep is getting a little bit of a nightmare at the moment as the road we park on is busy with building lorries and someone has moved into the empty house and the fast cars keep whizzing out the drive, it doesnt help when you have 6 dogs on the lead and cannot get past the lorry with 6 dogs as there is not enough room so you let the dogs off to go through and then a car whizzes out their drive. Hopefully they will realise they have to be more careful once they have lived there a while so I am being extra careful when I am there. The Ascot dogs had a lovely walk there though so that was good.
The Bracknell dogs I walked at Englemere, Belle and Audrey were really playing and rushing around it was really nice to see. What other people must think of me with 5 labradors of all shapes and sizes!!! Ruby the Bischon was also with us but she seems to think nothing of walking with 5 big labs?!?!?
I then picked up my sisters 2 dogs and took one of them to the vets – she is not shutting her mouth. We thought maybe something was caught but we cannot find anything so she has gone home to see if she gets better as it is a little bit of a mystery what is wrong with her. I then walked mine and Toffi at Bagshot which was nice and uneventful.
Loving this weather……

Really enjoying the sunshine not only today but last week aswell and today with the Ascot walk at Swinley I met up by accident with Theresa and Benson. It was nice for Theresa to see Benson playing with the other dogs, I am not sure they realised that he was not there at the start of the walk!!!! When Benson lies in puddles it is nice to know that he is going home now and not back to mine!!! Although I keep coming across mud at mine at the moment so not sure what my dogs are doing to bring mud in the house?

I dont know if anyone else feels that all woods, forests, parks etc are getting busier and busier so it was great when I came across a secret walk at the weekend that seemed more unused than any of the others that I have walked recently. On Monday I went there and today I also went there with the Ascot dogs and mine at the end of the day. However all is ruined as the machinery have moved in there aswell…… Totally gutted as it was lovely for a change and I met no one and it was safe but if the machinery is there then it is not viable. Oh well!!!! Took some nice pictures today which are below to share with you.

The dogs had a great time and were really playing today. Sometimes they play and other times they like to do their own thing, today was a play day. Benson joined the pack again after a day off last week and they all seemed really pleased to see him.
The Bracknell walk was quieter, I only went to Larks Hill as had 4 labradors and its nice to have a wonder and explore when I do not have as many dogs. We met another labrador there and Audrey played. It was really nice and I really enjoyed the lovely sunshine. Might take the camera out tomorrow if this weather continues.

I finally got to the boxers this morning although once I was out on the walk I wished I was still in the car as it was freezing.
After that I picked up Harvo and went and got the Ascot dogs including Eb who I havent walked for a while. Eb is a uncastrated dachsund and sometimes it takes a 30 minute walk 1 hour to get around as he has to sniff every blade of grass but today he was super fast and running and trying to play with Ozzie!
I then collected Ben, Beamish and Hector and walked with my dogs at Swinley. I met up with my sister and neice who fell in love with Ben. Ben thought it was great as he got extra treats. My dogs were also thrilled to see Olivia as they dont see her often. Homer was extra animated and every time he looked at her and realised who it was he ran up to her smiling. He is not usually a smiley dalmation and it was lovely to see. We had a lovely walk but I have to say it is nice to be home in the cold and I am NOT looking forward to being out there again tomorrow….. Roll on the spring!!!

Decided to be proactive with Pippa this morning, so I packed her into the car, shaking as she was not sure about being away from her pack. I collected the boxers which was not too bad as the boxers have never been socialised and Pippa doesnt like any other dogs getting into her car. She waiting whilst I walked them and then we went to get Shirley, Ozzie, Willie and Jagz and Bentley. Every time I put a dog in the car I threw her a treat. It worked. No barking and after the first couple of times she knew when a dog got into the car she would get a treat… Very clever. We walked at Swinley and it was nice for her to play with the others without Lexi interferring. Then we collected the Bracknell dogs and went to Jennetts Park and played with the ball. Belle and Pippa were moving at some pace to get to the ball first and for once Sylvester did not stand a chance. Audrey was having a wonderful time in what was left of the snow running around quite happily on her own. I actually managed to keep both balls I started with which was great. After that I collected mine, Benson, Bailey, Deuce and Leisl and went to Swinley again. I was there over an hour as I kept on meeting more people to talk to. Lexi was good aswell so that was nice. So all in all a good day of learning for Pippa.

Todays snow was fine on the roads but walking on it was hard work!!! Its like walking on fine sand so I certainly had a good workout. What with the cold weather and now the snow the dogs have all gone mad. Leisl who is usually really quiet on her walk was running around in circles endlessly playing which was really nice to see as she is only young. Willie was his usual self, Deuce was noisy as ever and Harvey had a lovely walk and was really good today at his recalls…. even Jagz and Bentley were spritely…
The Bracknell was was complete chaos though with Ben and Belle mad as usual. Beamish when he starts to play terrifies me as he usually ends his mad running banging into me for some reason. I took mine on this walk at Swinley, Homer is in a world of his own at the moment. Pippa is reliable and Lexi was really good today as we met one dog, a labrador and I had her on the lead but she did not bark. She was under added pressure aswell as Homer was being his ever amorous self. Then we met the dog walker from Berkshire Dog Walking with her gang and once again Lexi was good on the lead, although usually when there is a crowd of dogs she is better – I think she knows her limits. She was very well praised and really good. I think they are going to do some work at Swinley as the machinery seemed to be moving in so will keep you posted.

Lovely quietish week this week which is lovely after such a hectic couple of weeks.
Took the Ascot walk to the Coronation Road end of Swinley and went off path as I do. As i took Mia and Jacko, Jagz was like a fast car as he quite fancied them and as they were all the same size it was nice. Willie, Leisl and Harvo were also with us and charging around as usual. Leisl lost another ball though!!!
I then gathered Beamish and Hector and Belle and collected mine and went for a lovely long sunny walk at Swinley. It was Bensons last walk with me as his owners have now returned so I collected his stuff before. All the dogs were manic, not sure why – maybe this nice crisp weather. Beamish was playing with Belle, Belle was mad as mad can be today and was playing with Lexi and Pippa. Hector was happy and running around it was really lovely.
Took Benson home and he was so happy, rushed through the dog flap straight to the garden. He refused to use the dog flap at mine? Well last night he went out and I woke up at 2ish with him barking in the garden to come back in, typical…. Very quiet here without him. But as much as he was no trouble it is nice to be back to the 3.
Of to Yoga now – lovely………
